Day 2 of Rolling Loud, I was very excited when I woke up the next day knowing that I had a good night of sleep and well rested I was extremely excited to go into the Uber than I got checked in for Rolling Loud and went through security. The moment I got past security and into Banc of California Stadium I started yelling while everyone was looking at me. The fact I was yelling was because of my excitement for the audiomack stage were a lot of mainstream artist performed that day. Due to this, we keep pushing to get to the front when people left the stage because there are favorite is on the other stage. This stage introduced Jay Critch, Killy, Yung Pinch, BlockboyJb, a couple names that performed that are up and coming in the rap game. The mainstream starters with Lil Skies and counties with Lil Yachty, Kodak Black and a couple other performers. While we were in the crowd of Lil Yachty is when I noticed that he had the best performance for the crowd, from pausing his performance to throw 4 case of water bottle and he also brought out Faze clan and part of Quality control help performance and support. And he made everyone in the crowd throw water or something up. Therefore, hella mosh pit, jumping or dances at this moment of the festival and to many sweaty people. The other great performance was Tyga and he had every female shaking there ass, he also had a special guest, YG but an emergency happened to him.
From Ryan, Diego, Nate and my viewpoint of the Rolling Loud festivals would have to be a 10/10 experience due to the list of artist that is the performance for that weekend but would recommend it for the great entertainment festival.

Have you ever heard of rolling loud, this event is one of the biggest festivals for music. Rolling loud is a 2 full day event that took place on December 14th and 15th at the Banc of California Stadium, where record labeled groups and artists performing in front of 500,000 people or more. Introducing Lil Uzi Vert, Lil Wayne, Nipsey Hussle, and Wiz Khalifa as a couple performances, due to the mainstream artist on stage they were able to bring special guests to help make the crowd go crazy and jump. The journey to the festival was long, sticky and sweaty, to the fact, 3 Chico State students name Ryan, Diego and Nate and I were all traveling in a small two-door BMW for 8 hours down to downtown Los Angeles to experience to the upcoming, mainstream artist and the O.G in the rap game.
Day 1 of Rolling Loud we tried to sleep in the car until the owner of the Airbnb to calls us but knowing that we arrived in LA at 5:30 on a Friday, that he will call before he leaves to work. Due to that, we couldn’t fall asleep until the next day. Besides that, for the first day of the event, Rolling Loud has introduced people like 21 Savage, Trippie Redd, Juice Wrld, Post Malone, Sheck Wes, Gunna, Lil Baby, and plenty other big names. Some of the special guests were Offset from The Migos, Swae Lee and A-B Soul as the big surprise it the first day. The event was a walk-up call for the first comers because there was two stage far apart from each other so if you leave one stage to go to the other one you have to deal with pushing and pulling and you have to choose between two artists you like. We as a group decided that Lil Wayne, Trippie Redd, and Comethazine had the best performance in general for the first day.

This event happened at El Rey Theater on December 1st, 2018 for The Prime Tour. You remember those fires that went through Paradise and Chico going farther north of it. For the city of Chico and the rest of Paradise, P-Lo a big artist and a co-signed of HBK Gang from East Bay came in and throw a concert the week students come back from break. P-Lo planned after hearing what happened to are the city he felt desperate to not provide for the city. He decided to make all the money for the concert he will give to help provide the people that were or are in need still and the city of Chico and Paradise. I personally helped with providing money to the charity due to the ticket. On the good side of the concert, he had the whole building jumping up and down at the peak of the concert. He also had the best DJ in Chico for bits of help and needs. Some songs that he performed were Put Me on Somethin, Power, and Crystal as a few to name. To the fact he only has a couple known song and him playing them over again. Another’s fact is that he cut his performance short. Also didn’t have any energy to get his crew hyped or himself. Therefore the crowd was more hyped and ready then the performers. Plo’s set before him was not that interesting due to the fact no one knows who they were. The stage was to simple for a big artist like him due to the fact his music is a booty shake and had no background dances. Walk back to the dorm I heard a lot of negative criticism of his performance. Thought all the negatives and positives statements of P-Lo, his performance would have to be at least a 7.5 out of 10 overall.

On September 30, 2018
Chief Keef had a concert at the Senator theatre on 517 Main Street, in Chico, CA and it started at 8:30. I am a fan of Chief Keef and his music and how he is the biggest rapper from Chicago. I did grow up in Chicago when I was young and I understood what he explained in his song and lyrics.
I went to the concert excited as hell, I walked in and I see the small rapper performing and they are trying a little too hard to hype up people in the crowd. But then chief came out all slow but he played hate bein’ sober and I got up and ran into the crowd and then I started jumping around with people around me, it was an exciting experience. After that song, I moved away from the mosh pit because I will chief Keef and I wanted to enjoy him and his concert because it might be the last time I see him. Then after a couple song he plays one of my favorite songs by him, it’s love Sosa and I was loving the song and I and friends were getting hyped up and then this dude runs in like it a mosh pit and hits me and this other person right next to me, hit us in the face. Then we push him away from the group and then he walks off. Then after the song I had to sit down and get my head ready to go back. But when i was sitting down I noticed that he was leaned out and he ended the concert a little early, I was cool with it because I was forming a headache. I had a great experience until I got hit in the head and that wrecked the rest of my night.

I have goals,I have desires, I have wishes, I have want, but I have plan that I will make a hit songs that goes on the charts and have a name for myself when I get out of college or even in college. This plan start when I meet a couple of people in Chico that like to rap and have fun and not care with it and not be to serious every minute while were in the studio because make music is supposed to be fun and a great time sober or not it should not be serious. It took a while to find those guys I had to go from different rap groups but I found the people that would fit for me and I did. These friends and artist that I make in these past week lead me on this plan. The people that will help with the plan is Diego and Ryan Green. In this process of find the right friends and artist, was hard because they way I rap is a little different because of the uses of adlives in my music. “You have a great rap voice because of your use of adlives you have” Diego said, these words have push me even more to make only good music.
We are planning to put a single out to see if people actually like are music. We as a group are trying to be different and not sound like any other group in the rap industry and make a name for us. Are biggest goal is to make it big but have an impact to my view thought the messages we put in the songs. We all to agree that if the single we put out is good we would drop an EP for the people that want it.

I was walking around the school listening to music looking for a spot that would put my mind on hold and just listen to music and write about my life and also write some lyrics. I found one spot that is always peaceful where you can not be bothered and enjoy the environment, with the river behind you, where you can hear the water flowing thought the stream,you can also skip some rock if feel like it,bird chirping, squirrels run past you, climbing the trees all around you. If you go to this spot during the daytime you are able to see students getting out of class. In these moments, some days going here just to listen to music and write so new lyrics that process my mind when I am there, write music here helped me to enjoy every moment I have with anything, and it also helps me explore my mind of an artist and It also helped me explore the campus and the environment around me. This spot in the daytime can be very overpopulated because of students walking on the bridge on the sidewalk right next to the spot, but it a great environment where you can meet students and get to know them because there is so much stuff to talk about when you are in the environment. At night time it’s environmental sight is a great experience because all the animals come out that you don’t see during the daytime at this place. After going to the spot plenty of times to make some new lyrics for songs I realize that it opens my mind because of the environment around me. Go find this place that I have described to you guys and let me know if you know where I am talking about.

Have u ever want a meal that is easy and simple to make and a non-messy meal to cook up, that also taste amazing. A quesadilla can take up to 10-40 mins
The first task you have to do is to go to your community grocery store to buy:
-½ lb. Boneless skinless chicken breasts strips
-2 c. Shredded monterey jack
-2 c. Shredded cheddar
-2 Medium two tortillas
-1 Stick butter
These ingredient are just the minimum the make quesadilla, you can extra like:
tomato, onions, avocados, bell peppers, sour cream, mushrooms, you can also substitute the chicken with pork or steak. If you want, that you can add these variety of meats to your quesadilla to add flavors. Buy those ingredients and go home and be ready to get your hands dirty in the kitchen.
Take out the ingredients then pull out a flat pan and place it on top of a stove top. Then turn on the stove to a low heat, put ⅛ stick of butter on the pan to heat the pan and the food faster. After that, you want to put the tortilla on the pan and let the butter soak in, then sprinkle some shredded Monterey Jack and Cheddar on the tortilla as much as you want. Then turn the stove up to medium to cook it faster. If you want you can put the ¼ lbs strips of chicken breast or piece of pork or steak in the tortilla, then let the quesadilla crisp up, you also can add some extra ingredients in there if you want. The chicken and cheese is simple and easy. Then fold the tortilla on the cheese or chicken or extra ingredients, then flip the quesadilla on the other side for 5 minutes. After you flip the quesadilla let it sit on the stove for a couple minutes. You are able to make one in the microwave if you in the rush, you first have to sprinkle some cheese on tortilla and throw it in the microwave for 1 minute and then it done and off through day.
Turn off the stove then let it sit on the pan for 2-3 minutes to cool down then put it on a plate then you can enjoy your quesadilla. There is a couple good sides to have with a quesadilla like chips, pasta and others. I hope you enjoy your quick and easy meal.

Listening to music has changed my life from getting out of problems with friends, family, school and before basketball games. I am Haikeem Barber and music is one think I can say I truly love because it helped me through the past time and control my temper. I am hoping that music is still in my life in the future and still inspire me as it does as now.
One of my problems that happened to me when i was young was that my parents got divorced and I didn’t know now how to deal with the problem of not seeing both of my parents every but know see the one a week house to house. And I had no influence to change the decision through my parents. The only thing I could of done is to sit in my room and just listen to music. This is when I first found out that music could open up a different way of life and music. This was a way I could get out of the mind and calm down me and hold in my pain.
Another example is when i was a senior in high it was a payoff game and we lost, the next day I came to school somewhat happy but The only thing that made me happy was music. In this period of time was filled with heartbroken because we are lost to a team we could of beat and could of won the whole championship. The uses of listening to music in this period change my mind to use music to help me us in situations
These situations made the person I am know and happy that is changed me. These problems express the wwlove to music and I want to explore more in to music and rappers around my area.
